TOWN OF CHARLTON
ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS
OCTOBER 12, 2005
The meeting was called to order
at 7:30 P.M. by Chairman Maggie Schmidt.
A motion was made by Kurt
Vanderhorst to approve the minutes of the September meeting and public hearing,
and seconded by Ed Malis. All
approved.
There were no reports or actions
on old business.
On new business, Maggie said that
the Bob Muscanell (septic system) case was reviewed again by attorney, Bob
VanVranken, and the Board was strongly advised to not hear the case. A letter is being mailed to Mr. Muscanell
advising him of his rights.
October 13th is the
meeting at the county for the Chairman of the ZBA and Planning Board
Chair. Maggie will be attending.
There are two hearings next month
and Chris will be mailing out the applications to the board members. One hearing is a carport attached to an
existing garage, and the second case is a special exception permit for a
fiberglass repair business. The county
will be given a copy of the application for an advisory opinion. A copy of the application for the special
use permit will also be mailed to the town engineer. Maggie advised Dave LaFountain that the fee for special exception
permits is $250.00. She also advised
the Board that the hearings will be on November 9th, because
November 8th is Election Day.
Ed Malis said he will not be at next months meeting.
A motion was made by Ed Malis to
adjourn the meeting and seconded by Kurt Vanderhorst. All approved. Meeting
adjourned at 7:55 P.M.
