Notice
of this Public Meeting was posted, at Town Hall and on the Town of Charlton web
site, at least five days in advance.
The
purpose of the site visit was to observe and ask questions. Chairman Black instructed all Planning Board
members to refrain from discussing the merits of the case.
As
a group, led by Elaine Nigriny, those present walked the perimeter of parcel
(247-1-50.12), first along Jenkins Road, up the side of the driveway, behind the
house through the horse corral, wesr along the back fence, and into the pasture
which is proposed to be the new building lot.
Both
David LaFountain and Dean Durst brought measuring devices that were used when
measurements were requested [ie setback distances].
Prior
to the special meeting, Dean Durst placed temporary orange flags where he
proposes to build the new house, and he placed blue flags to mark the location
of the proposed well. It was noted that
the location of the flags differed from the latest survey map with a revision
date of May 1, 2007.
At
the conclusion of the special meeting, Chairman Black asked if the Planning
Board and ECC members had any unanswered questions, of which there were none.
The
meeting was adjourned at 6:45 PM.
Respectfully
Submitted,
Susan
