DISCUSSIONS
Highway
Superintendent Mike Emerich said that he is getting price quotes for a walk
behind mower to be used for mowing ditches.
The lowest price so far is from Emerich Sales and Service for
$4,300. He also stated that he got 3
prices for fixing the crumbling foundation at the Highway garage. The prices range from $6,000 to
$10,000. He stated that the roof at
the garage is leaking again, and he has prices for fixing that also. He suggested having the roof rubber
coated. It will cost about $10,000 and
is warrantied for ten years.
Councilman
Gardner asked as we are getting ready to move to the new Town Hall, would there
be any interest be the Department heads in having a time clock installed? They will discuss it further at the regular
meeting.
The
meeting adjourned at 9:04pm.
Respectfully
submitted,
Brenda
