COUNCILMAN REPORTS
Councilman Verola stated that she
had a discussion with the Highway Superintendent regarding the seal on the side
of the new Town pick-up truck. The
seal that he put on the truck is only 2 inches in diameter, and she feels that
it does not clearly identify the truck as a Town Vehicle. She asked if the Town should pass a
resolution requiring a certain size emblem on all Town Vehicles. She also asked if the name for Park fees
should be labeled differently, such as development fees, etc. Supervisor Grattidge said that they could
research it and see how that could be designated.
Councilman Gardner asked for the
status of the Job Description work. Supervisor
Grattidge said that he has signed the agreement with the consultant and they
are ready to talk to Department Heads.
He also stated that he looked on Governor Paterson’s website and found
14 programs available to Towns. The other
Board members asked for a link to the website so that they can look into it
further.
