Supervisor Grattidge mentioned that
the County had passed the Cold War Veterans Exemption, but this does not
currently affect Charlton Veterans as the Town does not have a Town Tax or a
Highway Tax. If the Town were to adopt
it now, in the future if there were a Town Tax, these exemptions would carry
forward. A resolution would need to be
done to set up a Public Hearing. After
the Board’s approval, Attorney Van Vranken was asked to prepare a resolution
for the next Agenda meeting.
