Meeting to Discuss 2008 Budget Information

The Special meeting of the Town Board of Charlton, Saratoga County, New York held at 3:00pm at Town Hall 784 Charlton Road, Charlton, NY 12019 called to order by Supervisor Grattidge.

Present:  Supervisor Grattidge, Councilman Gardner, Councilman Lippiello, Councilman Salisbury, Councilman Verola and Town Clerk Heather Scribner

Others Present:  Kathy Hanley, Secretary to the Supervisor and Consultant Robert Fisher

Supervisor Grattidge called the meeting to order at 3:00pm.  The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the Tentative 2008 Budget Revenues.  Supervisor Grattidge gave his thoughts as to how he came up with his figures.  At this time, the Town Board made no changes.

A discussion was held regarding Mr. Fisher’s suggestion, which would allow the Secretary to the Supervisor to prepare an abstract of claims for all hand written checks. Councilman Verola and Councilman Gardner gave their concerns.  The Town Board agreed that the Town Clerk would continue to prepare all abstract of claims.

There was no formal action taken by the Town Board.

The meeting adjourned at 4:00pm.
