Meeting with Financial Consultant Bob Fisher

The Special meeting of the Town Board of Charlton, Saratoga County, New York held at 2:00 PM at Town Hall 784 Charlton Road Charlton, New York 12019, called to order by Supervisor Grattidge.

Present:  Supervisor Grattidge Councilman Gardner, Councilman Lippiello, Councilman Salisbury and Councilman Verola,

Others Present: Bob Fisher

The Town Board met with Bob Fisher the towns Financial Consultant and discussed the town audit that was done for the following departments:  Town Audits for the Town Clerk, Town Supervisor, Zoning Administrator, Tax Collector and Town Justices.  Mr. Fisher’s verbal report was that all the audits went well with just some minor recommendations.  Mr. Fisher complemented all of the departments for doing an excellent job.

Other items discussed were, different roles of the Town Board and the Supervisor, optional coding for the 2007 bookkeeping and the disadvantages of using a private payroll service.

On January 9, 2007 at 1:00pm at Town Hall a meeting was set with Mr. Fisher to explain the optional coding and voucher process to the department heads.

Supervisor Grattidge adjourned the meeting at 3:00PM.
