Special Meeting

The
Special meeting of the Town Board of Charlton, Saratoga County, New York held
at 4:00pm at Charlton Town Hall, called to order by Supervisor Grattidge.
Present:
Supervisor Grattidge, Councilman Gardner, Councilman Lippiello, Councilman
Salisbury, Councilman Verola and Town Attorney Robert VanVranken Esq.
The meeting was called to
order by Supervisor Grattidge.
The Town Board discussed the
Town Hall Project. A discussion followed on the following items:
§
The progress on a final
contract with the four (4) prime contractors.
§
Job completion date.
§
Architects notice of
additional services.
§
Progress with securing
performance bonds from the four (4) prime contractors.
The Town Board discussed a
Freedom of Information Request (FOIL) concerning audio tapes used for recording
of town meetings. The town board agreed
to make audio tapes available to either listen at Town Hall within the presence
of the Town Clerk or to provide copies to the applicant. The applicant will be responsible for the
cost of the tapes.
The Town Board reviewed the
Highway Departments need for a tractor for mowing purposes. The Town Board agreed on presenting a
resolution to amend the purchase resolution to include the proper transmission
and seat.
Supervisor Grattidge
adjourned the meeting at 5:30pm.
