Duties & Responsibilities
The Communications Committee is an advisory committee to the Town Board established by Resolution in 2010. Our charge was/is to advise the Town Board on ways to improve communications with Charlton residents. Immediately we began e-mailing 'Charlton E-News Bulletins' twice per month to residents who signed up to receive them. The E-Bulletins are a way to share information with residents and as a reminder of upcoming meetings and Town events. We conducted a survey, included in the Town Newsletter and distributed at Party in the Park, for residents to share their thoughts with the Communications Committee. This new website is the culmination of our charge; the site is user-friendly and its content is relevant to better serve Charlton residents.
